The result of this sugar spike is that the body releases insulin and this then causes a sugar "crash" which can make us feel tired and lethargic. What can also result, is a feeling of hunger within the first couple of hours of consuming high sugar foods. This causes us to crave the sugar again, and this cycle or high and low blood glucose levels throughout the day can be problematic to health. As ZUKR does not cause the sugar highs and lows as it's ZERO GI and has no active carbohydrate, we do not have the same desire level for more and more sweet foods throughout the day. We have found that our users report less hunger throughout the day, and as a result they snack less, and as a result of less snacking and less sugar highs and lows, many users report easy weight loss.
